buttons

Yesterday, I was wandering around and came upon some sites that I think are awesome.

If food storage is something you would rather put in the back of your mind cuz it's too overwhelming, go have a look. It might ease some anxiety.

This first button is the big mama website...main points--the who, what, why, where, and hows.

This next one tells you how to plan your food storage.

This third one, obviously, shows you how to buy--good deals, coupons, planning shopping trips. There's even a budget tracker and some other charts to help you figure out what you need.

And the last shows you how to make and cook what's in your food storage. Always a helpful thing to know. Otherwise, you just have mass quantities of boring food sitting in a dark space.

I haven't done a ton of exploring on the sites yet, but what I did see makes me excited to dig in to the rest.

(All buttons are on my sidebar if you wanna go look later.)

Don't blow off your food storage. They don't tell us to have it for nothin'. Building it up little by little (tiniest bit by tiniest bit) is better than nothing.

  2. Thanks! It is so overwhelming! It's certainly something I need to get into more... at least we've got a garden going good this year!

Prices can change frequently though. But they probably hover around the same price.

  5. Good advice...with moving so much we don't have much of a supply for obvious reasons. It is a very unsettling feeling.

If you can't say something nice, say it behind my back.
