This past weekend, we were at the store and since the ice cream was on sale, I wanted some. This Breyers Chocolate Crackle looked good. I reached in and grabbed a container...it was much easier to lift that usual. Was I getting stronger? But then, I examined it. It seemed ...smaller. I had to go to Steve to confirm my suspicions...it was .25 liters less than a normal "gallon," (which still isn't an actual gallon), of ice cream!
What ever happened to a genuine gallon that was actually a gallon! What are we...British!? I want a container of ice cream that will fill more than 1.5 bowls!
Isn't this America!? Aren't we fat for a reason!? I don't like it when food companies take it upon themselves to make us a diabetic, heart-disease free Nation. If I'm getting ice cream in the first place, chances are, I don't care about dietary guidelines and this 2,000 calorie a day business.
I want my giant-size bucket full of creamy goodness back! I demand it! I want it full-fat...full sugar...with lots of calories per serving!
(In case you were wondering, I did still get the ice cream and it was very delicious. It was one of those things that's fun to eat cuz of the crackle. If only I could've had more than one taste...)
