We went to our ward's Trunk-or-treat last night. Lily was proud of the fact that she was a kitty.
This second picture is of Lily and her cousin Bodie...she loves Body. He's just the right size--they're only a couple months apart.
We didn't do any real trick-or-treating because I don't think Lily would care one way or another...and the more candy she collects--the more calories I'll consume. (Yeah, yeah...no one's holding a gun to my head, but who are we kidding?) We went to Steve's parent's house afterward so Lily could show off to her grandparents---which she's always up for. Most of the neighborhoods around were really dead. We went for a little (very) drive up to the golf course and found all the people. The "golf course" is code for the "ritzier" part of Roosevelt. It's not THAT spectacular, it just has some of the nicer houses around. Lily was asleep by the time we got home. As Steve was taking her out of the car seat she "meow"ed as she slept. Pretty dang cute.
So that's what we did. We were home by 8 and I finally got to watch Tuesday's episode of The Biggest Loser. (Is it just me, or is there WAY more drama this season than previous ones?)
She's a cuttie... looks like she had a lot of fun. Mariska didn't do any real trick or treating either. As to the Biggest Loser, it's Amy and Niel, they should both have been kicked off a long time ago!
ReplyDeleteShe is sooo cute!! I clicked on her little face pic, so it took up the whole screen and called Riley over, I told him lily was a kitty cat, and he said meow! :) It was cute.. I wish you were closer so they could grow up together..
ReplyDeleteMe too!
ReplyDeleteRiley is so adorable!
Good artwork on the kitty! Brooklynn was a kitty and all she got was a brown eye shadow nose and 6 whiskers.
ReplyDeleteSoooo true on the Halloween candy. We got so much between the 2 kids and they are not the ones eating it!!!
She is such a cutie patootie!!! I agree with Casey... we miss you!! It is too hot here though... Maybe I should move!
