etting a haircut makes me happy. It's renewing. I don't know why, really.
Hasn't it always been that way?

I think doing stuff to our--women--hair is our way of having a little control in a world gone awry.
"Okay, that jerk broke up with me?! So what?! Choppin' off my hair!"
"Lost my job...no biggie. Goin' brunette!"
"Gained 30 pounds? Awesome. Gonna go eat half a cheesecake...then I'll getta weave!"
It's a way of being able to change something when you can't change anything.
Ulcers may be forming, but gosh-darn-it, your hair's going to look super-fantastic!
So, with that, I say, I'm grateful for having a magical hair-cutting woman that makes my hair look just how I like it...
...Like the mane of a mustang.
Raw-hiiiyyde! Ftshhh!
Its beautiful! :) I wish I had a lady who does mine well.. I am going to get a haircut when I get paid :) Yay! I hope it turns out as well as yours did.
ReplyDeleteWOW! Your hair is gorgeous! Your hair always looks cute, though. In college, I was mesmerized by your cute short hair. I couldn't figure out how you made it flip up the way you did (until later when I chopped mine all off and played with it for a really long time).
ReplyDeleteCute hair! I'm getting my done next week. I'll probably just do the same old thing. Does that mean I have no control in my chaotic world?
ReplyDeleteHere...Here about having control over your hair when you have no other control in your life! Hence my many different hairstyles I have had in the past few years! YEA for fun hair! Oh- you should try some pink strips sometime! It's super fun!
ReplyDeleteMine just needs to grow decent then I can cut it decent.
